About Us

A studio built by three creators, and growing.

Lucky Ducks Productions started the way a lot of good things do: a few people in Albuquerque who liked making things together. Today it’s a production studio spanning film and video, photography, and web design, and a company beginning to hire and contract talent across New Mexico.

We’re a full creative studio, not a one-service shop. On any given project we might be behind a camera, in an edit bay, or shipping a website. Often all three.

The studio is organized around three complementary crafts, each led by one of us: film and video, a photography studio, and web design. As the work grows, so does the team. The people below are the core, not the whole picture.

Filmmaker and photographer, and the head of our Photo Studio. Dorian finds the frame that makes the ordinary look inevitable, and now leads a working studio shooting portraits, events, and productions across New Mexico.

Developer, writer, and systems thinker. Chris builds the tools, sites, and systems the studio runs on, and shoots with the Photo Studio alongside Dorian. He also runs ABQ Tech Works, our web-design shop.
